SHERATON X FUWOK CHA WORKSHOP RECAP - An afternoon filled with curiosity, laughter, and the gentle fizz of kombucha

Last month, we hosted a kombucha workshop at Sheraton Hotels & Resorts Phú Quốc. It was a moment of pause where guests could slow down, get hands-on, and discover the story behind this naturally fermented tea.

It always feels a bit magical how tea and sugar, with time and care, become something so vibrant and full of life. But more than that, it was the warm exchange of questions “where’s the scoby come from?”, the delighted “oh” when someone tasted the ginger kombucha, made by herself, and the quiet note-taking from those genuinely eager to learn. These are the moments we’ll carry with us.

We especially loved seeing a mother and her two young daughters from Japan gently take part — curious, attentive, and full of quiet joy. Their presence reminded us how food and drink can bring people together, no matter the language or age.

We are grateful to the Sheraton team for creating such a welcoming space and offering great supports. The genuine interest and joyful engagement from the guests reaffirmed that people do care — about how things are made, what they consume, and the stories behind it all. We can’t wait for the next event and hope to see you there!
